The Mendreo App is a digital service that provides AI-supported coaching and structured tools designed to help users develop skills, habits and routines for responding to anxiety and stress.
The App is not presented as a substitute for professional medical or psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment or emergency support. Users should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where they require medical or psychological care.
-
Certain functions within the App use artificial intelligence. Where users interact directly with AI, Mendreo aims to make that interaction clear and transparent.
AI-generated responses may contain errors, omissions or inappropriate suggestions. They should not be relied upon as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations or emergency support.
Mendreo maintains governance processes for the design, development, testing, monitoring and review of AI-enabled features, including appropriate human oversight and internal responsibility for AI-related risks.
-
Mendreo periodically reviews the intended purpose, functionality, public claims and regulatory status of the App as the product develops. This includes consideration of applicable requirements relating to software, artificial intelligence, consumer protection, privacy, cybersecurity and, where relevant, medical-device regulation.
Marketing and product claims are reviewed so that they accurately reflect the App’s intended purpose and supported functionality.
-
Mendreo processes personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Irish data-protection legislation. Where UK users are served, applicable UK data-protection requirements are also considered.
The App may process information provided by users about their experiences, habits, emotions, anxiety and use of the service. Further information is provided in the Mendreo App Privacy Notice.
-
Mendreo uses appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data and digital systems. Security controls are reviewed as the product and its technical architecture evolve.
-
The Mendreo App is not an emergency or crisis service. If a user believes that they or another person is in immediate danger, at risk of serious harm, or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, they should contact the appropriate emergency services or seek urgent professional assistance.
-
Mendreo may update its governance arrangements and public policies periodically to reflect changes in legislation, regulation, technology, product functionality and operational practice. The current version will be published on the website.
